       In the spring of 2003, after talking to a variety of community members and local small business owners, the need for reputable and reliable computer and technology support was noticed for individuals and businesses that do not have the luxury of being able to afford a full-time IT staff or a friend who is technology savvy.

THE BEGINNINGS

       Computer Elements was first founded in the summer of 2003 in Indian River, MI, as a small part-time business providing PC support to friends and community members. The main goal was to provide computer and technology support for customers who may not be tech-savvy or just needed some guidance. The mission of "Providing cost effective and professional IT services for all your personal computer needs." was born. The business waned while the owner was finishing his Management of Information Systems degree at Michigan Technological University in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

THE PRESENT

       After accepting a job offer from one of Detroit's 'Big Three' automotive companies as a systems support analyst in January of 2005, the need for information technology support for small businesses was once again noticed. As a result, the idea behind Computer Elements was once again dusted off and reestablished, with a focus on small businesses. Working in the IS/IT field as a professional has lead to a large network of resources which contribute to the success and reputation that Computer Elements has prided itself on since the early days.

       While the mission remains basically the same, the only thing that has changed is that the experience and networking capabilities of our support technicians has grown to be able to offer a greater and more diverse variety of services.

       We do not limit ourselves to a 'grocery list' of services offered, but provide options for ANY business related Information System/ Technology need that your small business may encounter. Please feel free to contact us for YOUR personal consultation of services required.
